Scales to Tails opened August 27, 2007 to further the family’s big dream. The company’s retail is a Fresh Seafood Shoppe; a market where customers can purchase fresh seafood from Ohio farmed fish to lobsters, shrimp, clams, dips, soups, and more. Also offered are fresh cooked fish and fries to satisfy anyone’s hunger. Scales to Tails also offers whole sale: fresh, frozen, and live. The owners David and Wendy Lemke have a fish farm where they grow Perch, Bluegill, Large Mouth Bass, and Tilapia. All other ocean side products come from three different distributors from Cleveland. The business is now undergoing a new plan to grow, and expand into more farming and processing into the retail. |
